NOTICE OF QUARTERLY STATEMENT FILING
September 10, 2007

Dear Restaurant or Hotel Licensee:

This letter shall serve as official notice of your responsibilities under District of Columbia Official Code §§ 25-113(b)(2)(A) or 25-113(e)(4)(A) to file quarterly statements with ABRA. As you may know, the recently created two year and six month grace period contained in DC Official Code § 25-101(43)(C) now establishes an expiration date of March 31, 2007. Beginning on April 1, 2007 restaurants and hotels were required to be in compliance with the District’s gross annual food sales requirements. This letter contains the due dates for quarterly statements for last quarter in FY 2007 and Fiscal years 2008 and 2009.

Enclosed is a copy of the quarterly statement form that must be filed by the due dates listed below.

FY 2007: 
Fourth Quarter: July to September, 2007  Due: October 31, 2007
FY 2008: 
First Quarter: October to December, 2007
Second Quarter: January to March, 2008
Third Quarter: April to June, 2008
Fourth Quarter: July to September, 2008
Due: January 31, 2008

FY 2009: 
First Quarter: October to December, 2008
Second Quarter: January to March, 2009

Failure to file these reports by their due dates may result in criminal and/or civil penalties as set forth in the District of Columbia Official Code §§ 25-831(b) and (d).
