Carusos Grocery

Restaurant

The Roost's standalone restaurant – Caruso's Grocery – is modeled after the classic Italian-American 'red sauce' joint. You know the one: red banquettes, a killer Chicken Parm, Sinatra pouring through the speakers. If you're looking for modern interpretations or a chef's take on the classics, you won't find them here. Caruso's Grocery will be home to traditional Italian-American fare focused on execution and high quality ingredients – menu items include Chicken Parmesan, Penne alla Vodka, Mozzarella en Corozza, Sole Francaise, Garlic Bread with Four Cheese Sauce, and more old school hits.

The beverage program follows suit with an accessible list that will revisit classic wines and cocktails. Beverage Director Greg Engert leads the charge on sourcing affordably priced Italian wines available by the glass, carafe and bottle, along with a short reserve list – and of course, the beer list will include a concise collection of excellent Italian-style dry-hopped pils and sours sourced from Italy. Meanwhile, Spirits Director Nick Farrell will serve up old school cocktails, including an Espresso Martini, Limoncellotini, Mulberry St. Cosmo, and more – all featuring housemade liqueurs made at Show of Hands. Finally, Coffee Director Nazia Khan is overseeing a classic espresso program featuring beans from Parlor Coffee.
A joint venture from Neighborhood Restaurant Group and Partner Matthew Adler, Caruso's Grocery is open for dinner daily beginning at 5 o' clock.
