Preventing Heat-Related Illness
As temperatures rise in the DMV area, people need to be aware of the dangers of heat-related illnesses. Singh, MD, an internal medicine doctor at Kaiser Permanente, shared with @WJLA viewers how conducting everyday activities in extreme heat can make people’s hearts work much harder and people need to be more cautious in elevated temperatures.
