RAMW Announces Chief Executive Officer Departure

Association Initiates Search for New President and CEO
 
Washington, DC – Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), the premier association representing restaurants and the foodservice industry in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area announced that its long-serving President and CEO, Kathy Hollinger, has accepted a new role as the CEO of the Greater Washington Partnership beginning October 3rd. 
 
“Kathy has dedicated herself to advancing RAMW’s mission for the past 10 years and has played a critical role in shaping RAMW into the organization that it is today,” said Gavin Coleman, RAMW’s Board Chair. “Kathy’s tireless leadership through years of both growth and challenges has positioned our organization for continued success after her departure. We thank her for her years of dedicated service and wish her the best in the next phase of her career.”
 
RAMW’s Board of Directors announced that Julie Sproesser will act as the Interim Executive Director upon Kathy’s departure at the end of the month. The RAMW has retained the executive search firm Vetted Solutions to coordinate the search. The search has begun, and the organization’s goal is to have a new CEO identified by January of 2023.  
 
Established in 1920, RAMW’s mission is to promote and sustain the growth and development of the industry while providing its members legislative and regulatory representation, marketing and small business support, programming, and events. RAMW serves its members with professionalism and integrity, and provide them the training, education and support they need to grow a successful business.
