The Universal Paid Leave Amendment Act of 2016 provides up to eight weeks of parental leave for workers in DC to bond with a new child, six weeks of family leave to care for an ill family member with a serious health condition, and two weeks of medical leave to care for one’s own serious health condition.

The DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) is hosting this PFL Webinar to:

• Introduce the Office of Paid Family Leave (OPFL)
• Help DC-based employers and workers prepare for paid family leave
• Share the latest information about the PFL benefit regulations 
• Get your feedback and input about how OPFL can best support DC employers and workers
