Easy Italian Holiday Dishes -- Cooking Class & Feast with Michael Schlow

Back by popular demand, the cooking class series by James Beard Award-Winning Chef, Michael Schlow, begins this season with a special, holiday, Italian cooking experience at Alta Strada DC this Sunday. During our intimate afternoon, Chef Michael recounts stories of holidays past, travels throughout Italy while demonstrating how to create an authentic holiday menu and arsenal of dishes.

Enjoy a first-hand look at how Chef Michael approaches the holiday season as he teaches everyone to make the following dishes:

-Warm shrimp with white beans, garlic and arugula

-Lasagna "a la Angolino"

-"Aristra" - slow cooked pork loin with garlic and rosemary potatoes

The class also includes:

- A three-course feast with dishes from the class (optional wine pairing and cash bar available)

- A welcome glass of Prosecco and a parting gift from Pastry Chef Alex Levin

- Take-home recipe cards

- Invaluable techniques and skills to impress guests at your next dinner party
