Fired Up! Art Works Now Annual Fundraiser Supporting Local Art Education

It's October so it MUST be time for the Art Works Now annual fundraiser!

On Saturday, October 20, 2018 Pizzeria Paradiso owner Ruth Gresser invites you​ to drink, dine, and dance while supporting art education in your community at Fired Up!, Art Works Now's annual Fall Fundraising event. The event welcomes over 200 guests to Hyattsville to experience a creatively-festive evening featuring live music, art activities, food and drinks from local restaurants, and so much more!

While they raise money for Art Works' programs, they'll also be raising awareness and raising their voices! Come prepared to eat, drink, dance, bid, and make some activist art, with food and beverages from Brookland's Finest, Right Proper, Moreland's Tavern, Taqueria del Barrio, Pizzeria Paradiso, DC Brau, Free Run Wine Merchants, and Centrolina.

Proceeds from the evening benefit increased access to the arts, standards-based after school arts programs, and year-round creative development for families and youth in the community. The funds raised at this event make it possible for Art Works to provide over $50,000 in scholarships for kids attending their camps and programs, provide sequential arts curriculum at area schools where there is a paucity of existing arts education, and ensure that their programs remain affordable throughout the year. BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW!
