Two years into the effects of the Global Pandemic, our local restaurant community is still rebuilding in many ways. Operators tell us that they continue to employ between 75-80% of the number of staff they employed pre-Pandemic, and many are unsure they will ever staff back up to those levels as they, and their teams, have learned to work in different ways to be effective. What they do continue to increase or explore, are ways to ensure they are cultivating healthy work environments, and bolstering benefits to remain competitive.
