Jaleo Welcomes Nora Pouillon for an Exclusive Event

Some of DC's culinary leaders, José Andrés, Spike Mendelsohn, Scott Drewno, Ann Yonkers, Patrick O’Connell, Cathal Armstrong and Haidar Karoum, invite you to a cocktail reception at Jaleo to celebrate the launch of Nora Pouillon’s new book, My Organic Life: How a Pioneering Chef Helped Shape the Way We Eat Today. 

As chef and owner of Restaurant Nora, America’s first certified organic restaurant, Nora’s mission since moving to the U.S. in the 1960s has been to bring organic foods to the American table. In My Organic Life, Nora shares her story from growing up on a farm in the Alps to becoming a modern day hero of the organic revolution.
