May 21, 2019 - 6:30pm to 11:00pm

SER Restaurant cordially invites you to join them for a special wine dinner featuring the illustrious wines of Pago De La Jaraba from the La Mancha wine region in Spain on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:30 pm!

During this dinner, export manager of Pago De La Jaraba Ramiro Martinez  and Grapes of Spain CEO Aurelio Cabestrero will walk diners through each wine pairing and share their knowledge and passion about these opulent wines that are modern, yet deeply rooted and devoted to tradition.

Chefs David Cardona and David Sierra will serve a decadent tasting menu where each dish pairs perfectly with the featured Pago De La Jarba wine. Each course will be paired with a different Pago De La Jaraba selection to truly showcase the beauty and flavors of these intense, new modern-traditional balanced wines

A little about the winery:Pago de La Jaraba is a family owned winery built at the heart ofLa Mancha, which was established with a clear objective: to magnify the quality of La Jaraba wines (wines born from the Spanish concept of “Vino de Pago”, similar to the Château concept), and to share these with winelovers! They join a generation of innovative wineries which are quietly transforming the Spanish wine scene, delivering superb wines at a great value.

While they can trace a history of notable regard for wines grown on the estate back to themid-1700's their current goal is to produce flag-waving examples of the new modern-traditional balanced wines coming out of Spain.

They follow traditional, sustainable methods, selecting species and varieties that are well suited to the site and to the conditions on the soil; so in addition to the 80 hectares of vineyards they also grow cereal crops – wheat and barley as well as sunflowers, almond, pistachio and olive trees. Further they raise their own flock of sheep on estate scrub/forest both to enhance and protect soil quality through the incorporation of sheep manure as organic fertilizer and for production of artisian Manchego cheese.

About Grapes of Spain // Grapes of Spain, Inc. was established in November 2001, with its first container landing in the United States in spring 2002, representing 8 producers. The company imports wines exclusively from Spain and currently represents 36 producers with a portfolio of 90+ wines from all corners of Spain. All of the wines are new to the US market and are from family winegrowers and that focus only on high quality and limited production.
