Food Rescue US – DC is a food recovery nonprofit that connects a community of food businesses that choose to donate their surplus food to partner agencies that assist food insecure neighbors. Their volunteers use their own cars and bikes to transport the food, it’s that simple!
Join them at their annual fundraiser, WE RESCUE 23!, on Thursday, September 21 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Gallery O on H in Northeast DC. Gourmet sips & bites, silent auction, live jazz and Nycci Nellis will MC! Tickets are $100, to purchase click here.
