We’re excited to announce that Flight Wine Bar in Chinatown will launch their brand-new educational wine tasting series, Flight Wine School, on Saturday, January 27th. Certified sommeliers and owners of Flight, Swati Bose and Kabir Amir, will lead guests on a global journey, exploring the tastes and terroirs of the world’s finest wine regions. Each class will explore four wines from a different country, along with complimentary bites.

Pints 4 Paws offers an afternoon of beer-tasting, music, food and activities for you and your canine companions. Beer enthusiasts can sample a wide variety of unique craft-brewed beer and enjoy live music, vendors’ booths and local food truck fare. Mix and mingle with adoptable dogs, play games like bocce and cornhole, and parade your pups in a doggy costume contest!
Come to the 18th Library of Congress National Book Festival, Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Washington Convention Center. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Programs begin at 9 a.m. and will run until 7:30 p.m. Follow the excitement via their hashtag, #NatBookFest.
