Brewery Ommegang brings its popular beer-pairing chef competition back to the District on Sunday night to kick off the 5th Annual DC Beer Week. Brewery Ommegang and the Washington City Paper have invited 8 of the area's most talented chefs to cook with and pair a unique dish with beers of Brewery Ommegang to earn the title of Hop Chef DC.
Cicchetti are small snacks or side dishes typically served in traditional osterie in Italy. “Cicchetti at Urbana” guests welcome Executive Chef Ethan McKee to surprise them with a continuously-changing menu of Italian dishes each week. With one special seating on Saturday evenings, 10 guests have an exclusive front-row seat watching Chef Ethan prepare an eight-course tasting menu at the restaurant’s hearth oven.
