DUE SOUTH is currently seeking experienced HOSTS and SERVERS to join our team!

We are currently hiring for the 2020 Washington Nationals baseball season!

The World Series winning team is back to defend their title and we are looking for a few good players to join our team.

***ABOUT US***: Due South offers creative cuisine inspired by the Southern states with an emphasis on in-house smoked meats, locally sourced seafood and farm fresh produce. Located in the historic Lumber Shed building along the newly built, beautiful Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, Due South is part of the increasingly popular section of Southeast DC known as The Yards; only a few blocks from Nationals Park.
Chef Rusty Holman has expressed his brand of Southern-inspired food in the DC area since 2007. Rusty's open kitchen concept combines subtle international flavors with many classics that produce sophisticated Southern cuisine. Due South is what you'd expect from a chef who has been cooking Southern recipes since he could reach his grandmother's kitchen counter in North Carolina.

***QUALIFIED SERVER CANDIDATES***:
- 2+ years serving experience in a FULL-SERVICE, high-volume environment required.
- Proven track record in hospitality. "Southern Hospitality" is kind of our thing.
- Exceptional work-ethic; reliability is a must!
- Possess a positive attitude and take pride in being a team-player.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability. Nights, weekends and some holidays are required.


***QUALIFIED HOST CANDIDATES***:
- Some experience in a High-Volume, full-service establishment is essential.
- Must be professional and have strong interpersonal skills; our hosts should be warm and present a welcoming environment for guests.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of OpenTable is highly preferred but not required.
- MUST be reliable and exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Flexible availability. Some night, weekend and holiday shifts are required.
