National Landing Business Improvement District (BID), in coordination with Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), announces the return of Love Local, a $100,000 relief program created in 2021 to provide funding and promotional support for National Landing restaurants and small businesses that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding provided by this initiative is intended to assist small businesses with necessary operator-related expenses as they continue to make progress toward recovery.
The “Love Local” program will distribute financial support to applicants that meet the eligibility requirements - must be open for business and is a brick & mortar small business or restaurant establishment - in the National Landing Business Improvement District. Funding will be divided equally based on the total number of approved applicants.
Approved applicants will receive a one-time grant disbursement administered by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW). Grant awardees will be required to execute a sub-grant agreement with the BID and RAMW. Applications will be accepted beginning at 11:00 am, February 15, 2022 through 11:59 pm, February 28, 2022. Completed applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
