August 27, 2018

Farmingdale, N.Y. (August 27, 2018) - AmeriCold, Inc. was awarded the opportunity to implement and monitor the refrigeration services at the new Armstrong Stadium, which will be ready in time for the U.S. Open. The big event starts Monday, August 27th and runs through Sunday, September 9th.

Rebuilt in one year, the new No. 2 stadium promises to exceed everyone’s expectations. Spectators are bound to be impressed by the new features such as a retractable roof, which offers protection against inclement weather, and concession stands that are four times the size of those in the old stadium. Following this trend, AmeriCold’s “Food Preservation Specialists” are working hard to get the beer and refrigeration systems ready for the U.S. Open using their cutting-edge technology.

AmeriCold’s expert technicians will set up and monitor the systems at Armstrong Stadium, ensuring that everything continues to run at peak performance and that the U.S. Tennis Association experiences the greatest benefits. AmeriCold assures the UTA that their refrigeration services will increase product shelf life, reduce inefficiencies, extend the lifecycles of the equipment, and decrease the energy cost of running the equipment.
