Ashok Bajaj has signed a lease for a new restaurant in Penn Quarter.

The restaurant will occupy 8,300 square feet at 800 F St. NW, in the International Spy Museum building. The building is owned by Douglas Development Corp.

Bajaj is the second tenant in as many days to sign a lease in the Douglas Development building. Shake Shack announced Tuesday that it has signed a lease for the Spy City Cafe location there. Bajaj will take over the former Zola space; Zola closed June 30.

No immediate details were available on what kind of restaurant Bajaj is opening. He is the owner of 701 and Rasika in Penn Quarter, as well as several other restaurants in the city, such as Bombay Club and Bibiana. He was nominated for Restaurateur of the Year for this year's Rammy awards.
