Chef Geoff's Tysons Corner Now Open

Tysons Corner, VA ---. Chef Geoff Tracy and wife Norah O’Donnell, known for their charitable spirit, kicked off the opening of Tracy’s newest endeavor, Chef Geoff’s Tysons Corner, with a party for their friends, family and Children’s National Medical Center donors. The result, happy patrons and $15,000 raised for the hospital.

The sparkling new space was cleared of the traditional dining tables to allow room for over 300 enthusiastic patrons to get a first glimpse of the new restaurant. Guests were treated to mini tastes like the Mini Duck Corn Dogs, Crab Dumplings, Marinated Tomato and Mozzarella Skewers or Tuna Sashimi on a Wonton Cracker to name a few.  The new wrap-around bar, with a dazzling display of wine and over 30 draft beers, was deep with guests sampling several of the specialty cocktails of the evening, including the popular Norah’s French Kiss, a mixture of Grey Goose Vodka, X rated liqueur and Chambord.

With all the mixing and mingling and well wishes, guests were treated to a table full of silent auction items generously donated by Geoff’s neighbors in Fairfax Square.

Tiffany necklace, Gucci handbag, salon gift certificates, Hermes scarf, weekend getaways all helped to raise the $15,000 for the Children’s National Medical Center.

“We are so proud of the new location in Tysons and thought the party would be a great way to be introduced into the community,” said Chef Geoff. “We are thrilled with the results of the party and look forward to welcoming many of our neighbors to enjoy the new Chef Geoff’s Tysons Corner regularly!

Grace Easby-Smith, Assistant Director Special Events for Children’s National was equally thrilled with the party.  “We were so excited when Chef Geoff chose to partner with us! We are very fortunate to have such dedicated and talented volunteers on our side. Children in the Washington area and beyond will benefit greatly from their generosity to Children’s National.”
