Launched on May 16th,2023, FoodJobsDC.com features a curated selection of jobs from local hospitality employers and RAMW members. As staffing has been one of the most difficult challenges facing the hospitality industry, FoodJobsDC.com provides a localized solution for job seekers and employers. The website allows job seekers to upload a resume, browse available positions, and apply online. FoodJobsDC is built with matchmaking algorithms to match employers with industry candidates who best match the position. 

 

Offered free of charge for RAMW members for the first year, employers can upload available positions, connect with potential candidates, and make offers of employment.

 

“Launching this site has been a goal of the Association for quite some time, and we’re so excited to bring it to the industry to connect employers and candidates through various pipelines,” said RAMW President and CEO Shawn Townsend. It will also serve as a platform for those coming out of the excellent community-based training programs we have in our region, with employers who are ready to hire.

FoodJobsDC.com is the DMV's first Hospitality-only job site. In response to staffing challenges in the region, Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, Events DC, and The J.Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation partnered in 2022 to create this employment-generating web portal exclusively for the DMV hospitality industry.

 

Employers can upload available positions, connect with potential candidates, and make offers of employment, while job seekers can upload a resume, browse available positions, and apply online.
