Winter Restaurant Week 2024 Participation Information

The Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week promotion draws diners to your restaurants to enjoy delicious plates and dynamic dining experiences that showcase the variety of cuisines in our region. The Winter 2024 promotion will be Monday, January 15 - Sunday, January 21. Through our multi-platform, targeted marketing and advertising campaign, including coverage from local television, radio, and print media, Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week remains one of the most anticipated and popular food-focused events in the region.
 
NEW MENU PRICE POINTS: We are adding new price points for promotional 3-course menus to increase profitability margins for participating locations and expand potential menu options available to diners. 
  • Brunch and Lunch: $25 and $35 (new)
  • Dinner: $40, $55, and $65 (new)
PARTICIPATION FEE: $550 per location
  • Early bird rate $500 per location.
  • Early bird registration is from November 24 - December 10.
  • Early registration puts your location on the list for early-booked media requests and other marketing opportunities that develop as we lead into the promotion.
MARKETING & ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
  • Television & radio ads and mentions on local stations, including NBC Washington.
  • Digital ad campaigns at Capitol One Arena, on popular local media outlets such as The Washington Post & via geo-targeted mobile device delivery.
  • Direct email blasts to 500,000+ local diners & opt-in subscribers through RAMW and our marketing partners.
  • Cross-promotion through partner networks such as Events DC, Destination DC, OpenTable, and community partners.
  • Social media marketing on RAMW, local media, and influencer platforms.
  • Official Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week website (RWDMV.com) featuring participant logos, menus, images, and direct reservation links.
  • Media notices to over 100 local outlets announcing dates and program highlights.
  • Media engagements on local television & radio stations highlighting the overall promotion and opportunities for live appearances & individual on-air mentions for participating restaurants (slots are filled based on requests from station producers).
PROMOTIONAL PRICE POINTS & RULES
  • Participating restaurants agree to offer a 3-course menu at the set price points for lunch, dinner, and brunch and also agree to adhere to the Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week Rules and Standards.
  • The promotional menu price points for Brunch and/or Lunch are $25 and $35 (brunch should be a meal equivalent to 3-courses) and Dinner price points are $40, $55, and $65.
  • Choose the menu(s) you want to offer during RW.
  • RW menu(s) must be offered during the full seven days of the promotion during your regular operating hours.

HOW TO REGISTER
  • Log in at RAMW.org at the top right of the homepage. Email us for your username and/or password if needed.
  • Mouse over the PROGRAMS section of the toolbar; click "Register for Restaurant Week" from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter your registration information. Review your answers before you click save at the bottom of the page.
  • Click "Save" to be redirected to the payment screen to select your payment method, either credit card or check.
  • Select your payment method - credit card payments are made online; if paying by check, you will see a confirmation screen with the next steps to remit payment to RAMW.

Dues must be current to be eligible to participate in the promotion. If your dues are not paid to date, you will not be able to access the registration page.
