Support Best Buddies This March
This March, Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington is partnering with Best Buddies to promote true social inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
We invite you, the generous members of our restaurant community, to join the Inaugural Bring Your Buddy Campaign by offering special incentives designed to attract diners and their buddies, co-workers and friends to your restaurant with a percentage of the proceeds donated to Best Buddies Capital Region. Participating Bring Your Buddy Campaign restaurants will be part of a regional marketing campaign conducted by The Tommy Show on 94.7 FRESH FM, RAMW and Best Buddies Capital Region that will include radio, social media, dedicated e-blasts, and more.
The Bring Your Buddy campaign will run from March 19th through March 31st. Given the recent spotlight on DC restaurants, this is a wonderful opportunity to show how our industry supports the larger community. We hope we can count on your participation and support.
We want to make this campaign as inclusive as possible, which is why we are making it easy for you to get involved. Participation in the Bring Your Buddy campaign will be from March 19th through March 31st. Below are a few ways to get involved:
- Option A: Donate a percentage of sales from a Bring Your Buddy pairing (ex. two drinks and an appetizer) to Best Buddies. Recommended option.
- Option B: Donate a percentage of all sales made during the Bring Your Buddy campaign to Best Buddies.
- Option C: Donate a percentage of sales from a special Bring Your Buddy menu to Best Buddies
We are thrilled to announce that up to $10,000 in contributions is being matched by PENFED Credit Union, so every dollar raised is significant. Percentage of sales donation and method of participation must be determined by February 22, 2017.
We will compose a completely customizable marketing toolkit that you will be able to easily plug into to promote your participation in the Bring Your Buddy Campaign. The Tommy Show on 94.7 FRESH FM, RAMW and Best Buddies Capital Region will also conduct an aggressive marketing campaign that will drive guests to your restaurant. The campaign will focus on the below elements, which will be supported by The Tommy Show on 94.7 FRESH FM, RAMW and Best Buddies Capital Region.
- Radio campaign on The Tommy Show on 94.7 FRESH FM with a reach of over 1 million listeners
- Twitter campaign with a reach of over 43,000
- Facebook campaign with a reach of over 30,000
- Email campaign with a reach of over 37,500
