Chinese New Year at Tiger Fork
Tiger Fork is gearing up for a blow-out Chinese New Year celebration! The festivities kick off on Saturday, February 9th at 2:30pm in DC's historic Blagden Alley.
Outside of the restaurant, guests can enjoy a special performance featuring Chinese lion and dragon dancers preforming along the Alley. This traditional ceremony signifies prosperity, good luck and good fortune. Guests can also enjoy Kung Fu demos from martial arts professionals, while sipping complimentary hot tea.
Tiger Fork will serve a special six-course Chinese New Year menu for $65 per person, starting at 12pm. Each course will represent a specific virtue to bring good luck in the New Year. Dishes include Pork Terrine Spring Rolls signifying wealth, Shiitake Mushroom & Bok-Choy Noodles signifying happiness and longevity, and Steamed Bass prepared with a ginger, scallion and soy dressing signifying an increase in prosperity. The menu will also be offered as an a La carte option at the restaurant from February 9th through the 21st.
