This summer, the Neighborhood Restaurant Group, Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID) and Liberty Property Trust are partnering to bring a seasonal, craft beer garden called Canteen to the District. The 100-seat outdoor beer garden in the courtyard at 2100 M Street NW will feature 10 rotating drafts, a menu from Red Apron Butchery, weekly live music, and lawn games.

On July 1st the minimum wage in DC increased to $10.50 an hour. This increase is based on legislation passed by the DC City Council, which increases the minimum wage over a three step process.
